CM Punjab Free Laptop Scheme: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has started a free laptop scheme for the students of Punjab. In this scheme, free laptops will be given to intelligent and hardworking students. Laptop is one of the basic needs of students. Because in today’s digital era, many educational problems are solved through laptops and students can learn about modern education. Laptops are a backbone in the educational journey of students.Through the free laptop scheme, 40 thousand laptops will be distributed to the students of the entire Punjab. In these laptops, high performance Core i7 and 13 generation laptops will be distributed among the students and they will be given to the eligible students on the basis of merit.

Distribution Of Laptops

In this laptop scheme of Maryam Nawaz, 20 thousand laptops will be given to university students while 14 thousand laptops will be given to college students. 2000  laptops will be given to students of medical and dental college. Students of technical and agricultural institutes will get 4 thousand laptops. Apart from this, 2000 laptops will also be given to the minority students of Punjab.Under the scheme, in the first phase, the distribution of 5 thousand laptops will be completed within 30 days. Apart from this, 35 thousand laptops will be distributed before February 20. The registration of this scheme will be done online.

Phase 1:In the first phase of free laptop scheme distribution, five laptops will be distributed within 30 days. 

Phase 2: In phase two, 35 thousand laptops will be distributed by February 20.

Eligibility Criteria For Free Laptop Scheme

To be eligible for the free laptop scheme, students must fulfill the following criteria.

• The age of the applicant should be between 18 years to 22 years.
•  Only students enrolled in universities, colleges or technical institutes in Punjab can join this program.
•  It is very important for the applicant to have a Punjab domicile.
•  Under this program, the selection of students will be based on merit, that is, those who have good CGPA can benefit from it.
•  Students should not have a record of any criminal activity.
•  The applying students should have their up-to-date NADRA verified identity card.

وزیر اعلیٰ مریم نواز کی مفت لیپ ٹاپ سکیم کا مقصد تمام تعلیمی اداروں کے طلباء کی مدد کرنا ہے۔ اس سکیم کے تحت طلباء کو کور i7 اور 13 جنریشن کے لیپ ٹاپ دیئے جائیں گے جو جدید ترین تعلیمی اور تحقیقی ضروریات کو پورا کر سکتے ہیں۔ یہ اسکیم اعلیٰ کارکردگی دکھانے والے طلباء میں میرٹ اور مساوی تقسیم پر مرکوز ہے۔ اس اسکیم میں اقلیتی طلبہ کے ساتھ ساتھ میٹرک اور ایف ایس سی میں پوزیشن ہولڈر طلبہ پر بھی خصوصی توجہ دی جائے گی۔ اور انہیں اس سکیم میں شامل کیا جائے گا تاکہ وہ بھی اس پروگرام سے مستفید ہو سکیں۔ یونیورسٹیوں، کالجوں، ٹیکنیکل، ایگریکلچرل، میڈیکل اور ڈینٹل کالجوں کے طلباء خاص طور پر مفت لیپ ٹاپ سکیم سے مستفید ہوں گے۔ کیونکہ لیپ ٹاپ ان شعبوں میں ایک اہم ضرورت ہے۔ اگر ہم علاقائی شمولیت کی بات کریں تو مریم نواز نے علاقائی شمولیت کو یقینی بنانے کے لیے جنوبی پنجاب کے اداروں میں طلباء کے لیے 35 فیصد لیپ ٹاپ مختص کیے ہیں۔
