Honhaar Scholarship Program: Honahar Scholarship Program has been launched by Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz. Under this program, 30 thousand students will be given annual scholarship.The aim of the Punjab government to start this scheme is to help the students of Punjab. So that more and more students can benefit from this program and improve their academic performance. A budget of 130 billion rupees has been allocated for this program. Under which needy students across Punjab will be empowered. It has been informed by the Department of Education Punjab that more than 68 thousand applications have been received so far from students studying in 65 universities, 359 colleges and 12 medical colleges. Through this scholarship, deserving young students can get higher education by removing financial obstacles.
Who Can Apply for the Honhaar Scholarship?
50 Government Universities of Province Punjab in Honahaar Scholarship Program. Students of 16 medical colleges and 131 graduate colleges can apply. Apart from this, students of government institutions and private universities can also apply in this program. This scholarship program initiated by Punjab will improve the educational quality of students. And will give them the best opportunity to get education. Such students who want to get higher education but due to financial difficulties cannot get their education. They can fulfill their dream of getting an education by taking advantage of this program. The Punjab government is moving towards creating a bright future for the talented youth in the program by helping the students.

Eligibility Criteria for Honhaar Scholarship
To benefit from the CM Punjab Solar Scholarship Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria given below.
- It is very important for the applicant student to have a domicile cell of Punjab. This domicile can be of any district of Punjab.
- The age of the applicant should be 22 years by the last date of submission of application.
- The monthly income of the applicant’s family should be less than three lakhs.
- It is essential for the applying students to be enrolled in the selected subjects in the selected university or college for the Fall 2024 session.
- Newly enrolled MBBS and BDS students in 2024 are also included in this scholarship program.
Required Marks
Medical Colleges: Minimum 80 percent marks in FSC and Intermediate.
Higher Universities: Minimum 80 percent marks in FSC or Intermediate.
Public Sector Universities:
75 percent or more marks for Sciences.
70 percent or more marks are required for Arts and Social Sciences.
HED Colleges:
65 percent or more marks for science students
60 percent or more marks are required for Arts and Social Sciences students.

To register in the Honhaar Scholarship Program, students have to provide various documents during registration which are as follows.
- Latest passport size photograph of the applicant
- Domicile certificate of the district in which the applicant resides
- Identity Card or Bay Form
- Father’s Identity Card
- Proof of income of the head of the household showing monthly income less than three lakh rupees
- Must have an admission number from a selected university or college.
- Record of last examination or result

- Create your account and click on the register button to apply for Honahar scholarship program. In which you put your ID card, your organization name and your email address.
- After giving all this information click on the submit button.

Honhaar Scholarship Distribution Start On 4 December
CM Punjab Honhaar Scholarship which was announced two months ago. Now its regular distribution is going to start. The distribution of scholarships will start from December 4. Under this program, 30 thousand students will be given scholarships on an annual basis. In which free scholarship will be given to students of 65 universities, 12 medical and dental colleges, 359 colleges and 68 disciplines students who will be selected for this program. Their merit list will be posted in their respective universities in which they can get their scholarships by seeing their name. Apart from this, the students selected for the scholarship will also be notified through email.
وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب ہونار اسکالرشپ کا اعلان دو ماہ قبل کیا گیا تھا۔ اب اس کی باقاعدہ تقسیم شروع ہونے جا رہی ہے۔ اسکالرشپ کی تقسیم 4 دسمبر سے شروع ہوگی، اس پروگرام کے تحت سالانہ بنیادوں پر 30 ہزار طلبہ کو وظائف دیے جائیں گے۔ جس میں 65 یونیورسٹیوں، 12 میڈیکل اینڈ ڈینٹل کالجز، 359 کالجز اور 68 ڈسپلن کے طلباء کو مفت اسکالرشپ دی جائے گی۔ جن طلباء کو اس پروگرام کے لیے منتخب کیا جائے گا۔ ان کی میرٹ لسٹ ان کی متعلقہ یونیورسٹیوں میں لگائی جائے گی جس میں وہ اپنا نام دیکھ کر اسکالرشپ حاصل کرسکتے ہیں۔ اس کے علاوہ اسکالرشپ کے لیے منتخب ہونے والے طلبہ کو بھی اس کے ذریعے مطلع کیا جائے گا۔
