On behalf of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the honhaar scholarship program has been launched across Punjab. The purpose of this is that scholarships will be given to hardworking students and students who show high performance in the exam. The Punjab government will bear all the education expenses of the honhaar students under the scholarship program.
According to the demands of the global job market, scholarships will be awarded to 30,000 students annually in 68 fields through the Honhaar Scholarship Program. Meritorious students of 50 public sector universities, 16 medical colleges, and 131 graduate colleges will benefit from these scholarships. Additionally, high-performing students from LUMS, FAST, COMSATS, NUST, Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute, and seven other top private universities will also get scholarships.
Scholarships worth Rs 130 billion will be distributed over 8 years through the Honaar Scholarship Programme. Over the next 4 years, 120,000 students are expected to benefit from this program. Interested students can apply at Honhaarscholarship.punjabhec.gov.pk.
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz said that the launch of the Honhaar Scholarship Program is an important milestone. Eligibility Criteria for Honhaar Scholarship 2024
- Domicile: Must be domicile of any district of Punjab.
- Age Limit: Should not be more than 22 years as of the last date of application.
- Family Income: Annual family income should be less than Rs. 300,000 (affidavit required).
- Enrollment: Applicants must be enrolled in the designated universities/colleges for the Fall 2024 session.

Get started by visiting the official web portal and creating an account. First, choose your nationality, choose your institution, and enter your ID card number and email address. Next, create a strong password with at least six characters, including special characters, to increase security.
Once your account is created, log in to access the registration form, which consists of 12 steps. Start by filling in your personal details and continue through each section until you reach the last step. Finally, review all of your information carefully, and when everything looks correct, submit your application. Thus, you can easily and conveniently complete your registration at home.
Note: Please note that registration for the Honhaar Scholarship Program has closed. Now you cannot apply in the first phase of this program. But you need not worry.
