Solar Panel Scheme Registration: A free Solar Panel Scheme has been launched for one lakh consumers of Punjab under Chief Minister Punjab Free Solar Panel Scheme. Free Solar Panel Scheme was officially inaugurated by Maryam Nawaz. According to the CM, the solar system will be provided absolutely free to customers who use 200 units per month. Maryam Nawaz said that the purpose of supplying solar panels is to give relief to the people from expensive electricity.

- To be registered in the Solar Panell Scheme, the family must be fully resident of Punjab.
- People who have an ID card and people who have an up-to-date NADRA-verified ID card can benefit from this scheme.
- All those persons who are government employees cannot register in this scheme.
- Individuals who have had an electricity bill for the last six months and it meets the unit given by the government.
- The monthly income of the applicant must be less than 60 thousand.
- The applicant should not have a record of any illegal activity or electricity theft.

Distribution of Solar Panels By Unit Consumption
- People who consume 50 units or less of electricity will get 500-watt solar panels.
- Those whose electricity consumption will be from 50 to 200 units will be given solar panels of thousand of watts.
- People who use 200 units will be given solar panels absolutely free.
- People using electricity from 300 to 400 will get 1650-watt solar panels.
- People using 500 units will get 220-watt solar panels.
